About the Event

Ever wondered what lies behind the tiny chips that power our world?

Join our Courses „Hands-on Chip Design: Digital and Analog Fundamentals” and discover how engineers bring electronic systems to life!

Throughout the week, you’ll explore the essential steps of chip design – from understanding digital logic and hardware description to discovering how analog circuits process real-world signals. With interactive workshops and guided examples, you’ll experience how ideas evolve into working electronic systems.

Besides, you will have an opportunity to discover our beautiful city – Kaunas, surrounded by welcoming organisers and students from all over Europe. It’s your chance to dive deep into Lithuanian culture, delicious national cuisine, share your ideas, and feel the BEST spirit!

Get ready for an inspiring introduction to the world where physics meets computing! Apply now and we’ll see you soon!

Frequently Asked Questions

Throughout the whole year BEST organises different activities where students of technology get the chance to complement their fields of study, discuss educational matters, learn and take their first steps into an international career, increase their international experience, set up contacts, improve their English level and have fun. Each BEST event is attended by 20-30 engineering and technology students like you, who have something in common: they want to live a unique experience, different from day-to-day school life!

  • Complement your knowledge in different fields of study
  • Visit companies, industrial plants and research centres
  • Take part in case studies
  • Follow interesting classes covering many different technology fields, economics, marketing and management

This course will help you understand how modern electronic systems are conceived and developed, and will introduce you to both digital and analog aspects of chip design. Through a structured sequence of demonstrations and guided exercises, you will observe how engineers describe, analyze, and refine circuit behavior across different design stages.

Registration happens through BEST website. You should create a new account there and fill the application form to our event, Hands-on Chip Design: Digital and Analog Fundamentals. Once you do that  sit back and relax waiting for the results.

We will select participants based on their motivation and interest in the topic, so make sure to tell us everything about how awesome you are!

If you have any questions regarding application or anything else  do not hesitate to contact us.

Maximum participation fee is 80 euros (the price you pay depends on your country category, which can be found here).

There are no knowledge requirements and your motivation is what matters the most.

The whole event will happen live in Kaunas, but the communication prior and during the event will happen via WhatsApp.

Yes! Participants will receive a certificate with details on what lectures you attended and working hours spent.
